Unlike other services out there for IMGs, IMG Mentors is only made up of faculty members who provide these services within US residency programs. Because they are the ones reading applications and partaking in these decisions at their own programs, they know what residency programs are looking for and what it takes for an IMG to stand out.
Our Mentors
Our mentors are hand selected from Residency Program leadership across the US. They are core faculty, associate and assistant program directors here to mentor you through the residency application process. Each year they review hundreds of applications for their own residency program, select students to interview, interview students, and help with residency class selection. They are here to share their expertise and insights with you.
Our Goal
At IMG Mentors, our goal is to help IMGs by providing them with expert mentorship they otherwise would not have access to. These mentors will be able to share their expertise, guide the applicants, and help them put their best competitive foot forward in the match process. US medical graduates have the advantage of having these faculty members on hand to answer their questions and provide guidance during the match process, it is built into their training. We hope to bring IMGs the same advantage!
