Unlike other services out there for IMGs, IMG Mentors is only made up of faculty members who provide these services within US residency programs. Because they are the ones reading applications and partaking in these decisions at their own programs, they know exactly what residency programs are looking for and what it takes for an IMG to stand out.
Our Mentors
Our mentors are hand selected from Residency Program leadership across the U.S. They are program directors, and associate and assistant program directors here to mentor you through the residency application process. Each year they review hundreds of applications for their own residency program, select students to interview, interview students, and help with residency class selection. They are here to share their expertise and insights with you.
Our Goal
At IMG Mentors, our goal is to support International Medical Graduates by providing access to expert mentorship they otherwise would not have. Our mentors share their expertise, guide applicants in early preparation and long-term planning, and support them throughout the residency application process to help them put their most competitive foot forward in the Match. U.S. medical graduates benefit from built-in access to faculty guidance during training and the Match. IMG Mentors aims to provide IMGs with that same advantage, no matter where they are in their journey.
