Service Description

This is our most comprehensive mentoring service for those applying to the current Match cycle. Applicants are paired with a mentor who provides end-to-end guidance through every stage of the ERAS application process. The Full ERAS Prep Package includes the following components: 1. Personal Statement Guidance and Editing Applicants meet with their mentor early in the application season to review their CV and personal story and receive individualized guidance on content, structure, and formatting of their personal statement. After drafting, the statement is reviewed and edited for clarity, cohesion, and impact by their mentor, with additional editing support from a second reviewer with expertise in writing and English. 2. ERAS Application Strategy and Initial Review After ERAS opens and before the application is built, applicants meet with their mentor over video while sharing their ERAS screen. Mentors guide applicants through each section of the application, advising on what to include where, which experiences to highlight, and how to present strengths and IMG-specific experiences in a way that programs can appropriately credit. Guidance is also provided on how to address any potential application concerns (e.g., exam attempts, gaps, or absences). 3. Final Application Review and Editing Once the application is completed, applicants meet with their mentor again later in the summer for a comprehensive review and editing of the full ERAS application, ensuring strength, clarity, consistency, and readiness for submission. Application strategy, signaling, and related questions are also addressed. 4. Interview Preparation Following ERAS submission and prior to interview season, applicants complete a mock interview with their mentor, followed by individualized feedback on content, delivery, and communication style. Applicants also receive a set of competency-based interview questions to support ongoing preparation. 5. Letter of Recommendation Guidance Applicants receive targeted guidance on how to identify appropriate letter writers and request strong, effective letters of recommendation that align with their application goals.
