15 minZoom & Email

Service Description

This service is offered to soon to be applicants or those in the current match year providing advice and guidance on asking international medical faculty for letters of recommendation. It includes tips, verbage, and suggestions on how to obtain strong letters of recommendation to optimize current or future applications. Following the call the applicant will be provided with a summary documentation including tips and suggestions. Who should use this service: Anyone planning to submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty member based outside of the USA. When US residency programs get applications LORs from international writers often stand out. This is because they are often structured differently and contain different content than LORs obtained from US faculty members. They can vary in length, content, intent and structure which does not always support your application in the way you want it to. This package will help you guide your letter writers to get the most out of your LORs. About the mentor: The mentor providing this service reviews hundreds of letters of recommendation each year for their residency applicants. Contact us for pricing
