This service involves a pre-call with the applicant to discuss their personal situation and guidance on writing their personal statement. This should occur before the applicant has started writing their personal statement. Once the personal statement is completed, the mentor will review the applicant’s completed personal statement and provide edits, feedback and suggestions for improvement. This service is offered to current match year applicants. Who should use this service: Students or graduates who are applying for the match this year who want mentorship through each phase of writing their personal statement. International medical graduates often have unique stories that can be captured in personal statements and this service best allows us to help you capture your unique experiences as an IMG. About the mentor: The mentor providing this service is someone who reviews applications for residency match at their institution and reviews hundreds of personal statements annually.
